Lindsay Dow
Host of How to Learn a Language
Hey, I’m Lindsay and I’m on a mission to teach you how to learn a language. Yes, you! The How to Learn a Language podcast is a big part of that mission because it’s all about making language learning fun and still making progress. Win win, huh?
I’ve recently completed my MA in Applied Linguistics and spent the past 2 decades plus of my life learning languages, which means I know a thing or two about how to do this thing.
When I’m not sharing how to learn languages on the internet, I’m trying new-to-me sports (because being a beginner is the best!), hunting down old language books, and playing with my tortoise Gonzo (who speaks a grand total of zero languages).
How to Learn a Language is the smart independent language learner's new favourite podcast with the very self-explanatory name!
We’ll cover all aspects of language learning, especially focusing on learning how to learn languages better. From time to time guests might pop by to share how they learn languages, but mostly it’ll be me and you hanging out so hey, get comfy and let's learn how to learn a language.
